The best thing about HARO is that journalists come to you. This differs from most link building tactics, where you are required to do all of the outreach.
What’s even better is that big media outlets are using the service. We’re talking Mashable, Time, Fox News, Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, to name a few.
So you’re not just getting links from small bloggers – You can obtain quality links that high-level publications will provide.
Use Facebook Groups as your Link Building Strategy
When it comes to link building, Facebook Groups is an often overlooked channel.
This is a huge mistake!
Facebook has over 2.8 billion users and can be leveraged to drive massive amounts of traffic to your site while building powerful backlinks.
One thing I’d like you to keep in mind: You need to approach this strategy thoughtfully.
You can’t run a simple Facebook Group campaign and expect results. You have to treat Facebook groups like any other online marketing channel.

This is a technique that has been working very well for me this year.

This type of outreach tends to result in a much higher response rate. Plus, your video also has a high potential of getting embedded into their page for increased exposure.
As long as your video is relevant and helpful, this outreach technique will generally be much more successful than direct email outreach.
